The My Messages panel displays all geomessages and chats that are sent to you or that you have sent to others. This helps you maintain your awareness of all the communications taking place during a mission.
The My Messages panel banner contains three tools, located on the right side of the banner:
- Start a new chat - denoted by a + icon.
- Mark All as Read - This tool allows users to dismiss all unread indicators present on My Messages feed items.
- Filter Options - This tool allows users to choose to show only chat thread or geomessages in the My Messages feed.
Geomessages and chats are displayed in the order in which they are created, with the most recent displayed at the top. Geomessages are displayed with the following information:
- Sender — The name of the mission member who sent the geomessage
- Title — The title of the geomessage
- Time — The approximate time the message was sent
Tap a geomessage in to zoom the map to the geomessage and display any information created as part of the geomessage.
Chats are displayed with the following information:
- Sender — The name of the mission member who sent the message
- Time — The approximate time the message was sent
- Last message — The most recent message sent as part of the chat
Tap a chat to open the chat and view the chat history or send additional messages.
