Use export tools

After working with your imagery and exploiting areas of interest, you can export your area of interest and view for use in briefings, reports, and presentations. The export tools allow you to export your current view as a report.

Create a Report tool

Generate a report to disseminate key information about a specific area of your imagery through a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation. The Create Report tool allows you to define an area of interest and add any comments from your analysis. You can create a report from the map focus panel or image focus view.

Note:

If you choose to export the image focus view, the full metadata of the image will be included in the notes section of the slide.

To create a report, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the Tools menu in the imagery exploitation canvas.
  2. In the Export Tools list, click Create Report.
  3. Click Sketch an Area of Interest to draw your area.

Additionally, you can click the button again to cancel your drawing.

  4. Fill in the following information:
    • Report Title
    • Analyst Comments
    • Report Filename (required)

You also have Additional Report Options to export your report in dark mode, include a title slide, and upload a copy to your portal account. Including a title slide is turned on by default.

  5. Click Create Report.

The presentation file is available in your browser's default download location.

Upload a report to your portal account

You have the option of uploading your report to your portal account. Your report will upload to different folders depending on the workflow. If you are working in the canvas view through an ad-hoc workflow, your report gets saved in your My Content folder. If you create a report within an existing imagery project, your report gets saved to your imagery project folder.

To upload a report to your portal account, complete the following steps:
